Diplomacy tournaments and conventions
You don't have to be chasing a trophy to enjoy a Diplomacy weekend. It's a chance to meet the people behind the usernames, play a few rounds and talk over the moves afterwards. Ask the organiser about first-time players, single-round entry and how long the games run.
WDC is the World Diplomacy Convention; its main tournament awards the world title. EDC is the European championship. DipCon is the North American championship and moves between host events. A regular tournament isn't automatically a national or regional championship: the title below applies to the listed edition.
