MYTURNYET WIKI

Close the Box daily guide

Close numbered tiles by matching the dice. Look ahead through the visible sequence and try to close all nine.

Make your first move

Start with tiles 1–9 open. Read the current pair of dice, select open tiles whose numbers add to its total, then confirm the selection. For a total of 7, you could close 7, 1 and 6, or 3 and 4. Closed tiles stay closed, and every accepted move uses the next pair in the sequence.

When one die is enough

Once tiles 7, 8 and 9 are all closed, you may use just the first die instead of both dice. The whole pair is still used up. If one choice leaves no move, check the other: the run ends only when neither permitted choice can match the remaining tiles.

Plan ahead

All nine dice pairs are visible from the start. Everyone gets the same sequence for the same Stockholm date. This MyTurnYet version is a planning challenge rather than a game with hidden future rolls. Look at the next few totals before closing a useful small tile. A perfect finish is not guaranteed for every sequence.

Scoring and finishing

Each closed tile adds its number to your score. Higher is better: closing everything earns 45. The open total shows the points still on the board. The run ends when all tiles are closed or no legal move remains. There is no speed bonus.

Returning to a run

Accepted moves are saved when you confirm them. A selection you have not confirmed is not saved. Anonymous recovery depends on the same browser tab’s stored access details; do not assume a new browser or device can recover that run. After finishing, posting your result is a separate choice.
